WINTER DRIVING: Sheriff’s Office Busy With Crashes | News
The winter storm this week kept the Polk County Sheriff’s office busy with winter weather related crashes.
In 3 days, the department says they responded to 99 accidents and another 71 calls involving cars stuck in a ditch.
The department also says they helped 38 drivers whose cars stalled on the road during the storm.
