FOUNDATION RETIREMENT: Griswell To Leave | News
The head of the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines is retiring.
According to the Des Moines Register, Barry Griswell will step down as CEO this summer with current president, Kristi Knous taking over.
Griswell is the former CEO of the Principal Financial Group. He joined the community foundation in 2008.
Having been founded in 1969, the foundation promotes charitable giving. Last year, the group distributed $25 million in grants.
