Channel 13’s Patrick Dix tore up the table during the Media & Celebrity Invitational at Prairie Meadows Thursday.
Dix was among 22 other players that included World’s 3rd ranked poker-playing female, Maria Ho and Tiffany Michelle, the 17th place finisher in the 2008 World Series of Poker.
The Today in Iowa anchor finished a valiant 4th behind the visiting pro, Tiffany Michelle and eventual winner, the Des Moines photographer Chad Bassman.
Maria Ho came 14th.
Prairie Meadows donated $1,000 in Chad Bassman’s name to the American Diabetes Association. The winner also received a $50 Gift Certificate to AJ’s Steakhouse.
