UNITED WAY: Holiday Donation | Community Spirit

The holiday season is a time of giving. This week, United Way is a happy recipient.

Prairie Meadows employees raised $111,850 through pledge and donation activities to help United Way advance the common good in the community through the building blocks of education, income, and health.

During this year’s campaign, Prairie Meadows employees raised the total through employee bake sales, raffles and grab bags, auctions, ticket sales, and food sales.

To date, United Way of Central Iowa has received $505,852 through Prairie Meadows employee fundraising efforts.

In addition, United Way of Central Iowa has received more than $5.2 million from Prairie Meadows through its Legacy Grant and Community Betterment Grant programs from net operating receipts since 1996.
